Our Approach

Our approach is to be amicable and conciliatory where appropriate, in the hope of resolving family problems without unnecessary bitterness. However, where a robust approach is inevitable, we are well able to use the rules and the law to our clients' advantage, although every opportunity to negotiate a settlement will be continually explored, as the case unfolds.

Family Law and Other Litigation

With her background in general litigation, Madeleine is especially able to act in Family Law cases with an "overlap" of legal areas such as property disputes between unmarried people, professional negligence arising from a family dispute, disputed family Wills and Trusts; areas with which many family lawyers are uncomfortable. As a firm's policy, we do not offer to do work on a "no win no fee" basis.
